Steam has tweaked the process of getting free PC games or DLC to make it a little more convenient, and it’s a change that has been met with great happiness (or bewilderment in some cases).

If you’re a regular Steam user, you’ll no doubt remember that if a game is free on Steam and you want the title to claim it, you have no choice but to click play, which triggers the installation process. You can cancel this, after a short wait while the cogs turn a bit, but this is a bit unnecessary.
